W140 S500 Dash Brake Warning Light Faint Blinking
I have a 1994 MB S500, about a month ago, I felt my brakes to be a bit weaker than normal. I later noticed that the orange brake indicator light in the dash would faintly come on at low speeds whenever I'd press the brakes; it would then go away when I released. During normal driving conditions it flickers really faintly but never comes on full, I noticed the flicker more frequently in wet conditions after rainfall. Then my brother changed the pads on the front but left the old brake sensors, saying that they looked fine. With the new pads, my braking power is back, but I still get that faintly flashing orange brake warning dash lamp. Do I just need to change those brake sensors, or is there another problem somewhere else?
Just for information, my bushings on the lower control arm are due for a change, could that be contributing to the light? Any input would be much appreciated. -Sulman 94 s500 |

Why didn't he install the sensors, they are something less than $1 a piece. Get new ones and see if it helps.
