C Walter, Klann, Forch and Kukko tool group buy
I will be in Europe for the time being and in the mean time, I am able to get a good price break on nearly all tools that we DIY'ers might/will need to do future work. I can only get tools made by the stated company, as the store only deals with those companies. If you need anything.. let me know, might get a good price break. But I will need to know what you guys might be interested in and quantity then I can deal 1-1 with the owner. I am looking to purchase ball joint extractors and some fork separators. The quality of these tools are EXCELLENT.. not cheapo junk. I know Walter offers a free replacement if something goes wrong.

How about bringing me one of those manual 5-speed transmissions for my 1985 300D?
But seriously, I have been nosing around on ebaymotors.de and google.de and have found some transmissions at what seem to be reasonable prices. So far, I have no clue about what it would cost to ship a tranmission or about how I would verify the condition of the transmissions. If you run into anyone over there with some ideas about those issues, I bet the group would be interested to hear from you. Have a nice visit over there. |

I can get a decent price on the Klann KL-0165 ball joint kit, pictured below... MSRP is something like $1200 though, and most people don't wanna pay even one-third that much. If there's any interested in a GB on those, let me know. (NO, I can't get any other items, sorry - just the BJ kit - and "maybe", at that...!)
Snibble - I think there may be interest in the Klann W201/W124 subframe tool, depending on your cost. Samstag sells it for $525 and I think you'd need to get it under $400/ea to generate much interest. (?) |

sorry guys... I was flying back from Europe in between posts. I just got back several hours ago. Anyways... Let me know of the dimensions(size of openings, etc) and will take it to the owner and he'll let me know what the right tool is.

Did any of you guys notice the guy selling the Klann stuff on Ebay a couple of months ago? He sold a couple of Klann KL-0165 ball joint kits for under $200 if I remember right. He was offering them for like $150 and for awhile he was having trouble selling them!
