looking for a new (to me) diesel benz

I got rear ended about two months ago, and now it finally looks like I'm going to get the money for it. I have a 300SD, and I was thinking about repairing it, but there's just a lot of stuff wrong with it that I was gonna get to eventually. But now that I'm gonna get a few grand for this car, I'm strongly leaning towards putting some more money and getting another one that has less problems.

Is it just me that thinks that?

Also, if any of you know of a diesel in good condition under $10k in the central/north Florida area, please let me know.
