What is the A/R for the turbine and compressor respectively on the Garret for the 300SD? I am looking to "enhance" my turbo and was thinking of a T3/T4 hybrid, maybe this one:

Why? Why not?

good luck getting a decent answer without Forced around for a bit. seems like everyone just loves to get offended by him around here. just ask him over at super turbo diesel . com and you'll get your answer faster.

sorry, not intended. just a side comment on the sensitivity issues around here and, IMO, helpful direction towards an answer.

Nothing taken personal...I am just prefacing my question with that statement. It seems to turn into a pi$$ing contest after awhile, not very constructive.

Does anyone know the answer? I am thinking about installing a .48 A/R turbine and .70 A/R Compressor.

I don't know the answer to your question, but it might be instructive if you were to lay out your goals for this particular project. As many on here will probably state, if you don't plan to increase the fueling of your engine, there may not be a net benefit derived from swapping out your turbo.

I do plan on adding fuel at a later date...just want to be able to increase boost and when it comes into play.

It is more of a toy at this point in time, just seeing what is available to get more out of the engine. I don't expect hugh gains in H.P., but I just want to test the limits.

i believe you would be possibly increasing low end torque with a more efficent turbo . even moreso if its a vgt style.
