Sounds good, I'll begin working out a route, checking out weekend traffic and all that good stuff.

Sorry I couldn't meet you all yesterday, sounds like it was a good time for all. I may be doing a bit of a makeover for my car by the time the next meet rolls around. Details to be released as they are confirmed.

The PPI in Berkeley.

Here's the new Diesel that murdoc bought being checked out by Curtis.

Barbara strikes a pose.

No. That has yet to be determined. Justin has proposed the following:

There were also talks of meeting up at RAB motors..

If the 300SD looked as good as Murdoc's(scratch that) Barbara's new diesel I would have already jumped on it. I'm still mulling it over. I don't really need 3 MB's right this moment, as I'm still in temporary quarters.
I do care for the old guns as that has been part of my life ever since I was a kid. I just love history and Old guns. The last two I sold turned into my SEC.
We'll see. I may show up in July with an Astral Silver/Anthracite MB Tex 300SD. One just never knows.

USER NAME CHANGE!
I changed my user name (was Charlies84380SE) today as it just doesn't apply as well and this one is a lot easier to tell folks at diesel drives...DUH!

Still looking forward to the summer Diesel Drive!

You are certainly welcome to come up, you are a real enthusiast, and Southern Californians are welcome.

Boardmonger (Zack) is working out the route, it looks like this time it will be principally on the Pensinsula and coast between SF and San Jose, most likely.

I saw this car on craigslist but I figured it wasn't a good deal because if someone put those rims on THAT car...God knows what else they have done to it. I hope I haven't offended someone or someones' asthetic tastes.

I am originally from san diego and a few of my buddies and I all have mercedes diesels. in fact the majority of us have more than two mercedes diesels and we are early 20 and still in college. I'm sure I can get some of my buddies to drive up in there mercedes to join the gang. So there might be an age difference between us but we are all well versed in mercedes diesel mechanics.

There won't be much of an age difference and aside from the rims (which I think the last owner bought the car with those rims on there) most of it is stock. It definitely needs some work so we will see how it goes.
