I noticed a 1992 300TE wagon for sale on Ebay (2487494579). For what ever it is worth I used to own this car and sold it to a retired lady about 18 months ago.
It is amazing I saw the car on ebay and it reminded me of my old 300TE wagon. Just for the heck of it, I checked the VIN # and it matched my old bill of sale! I called the guy selling the car and he pulled the records and sure enough the last owner was person I sold the car to in 2003. As I recall the lady appeared to take very good care of the car. She would often call me and asking for recommeded service facilities, oil type,ect. The lady purchased the wagon specifically for driving between her homes in Ga & Fla.This was a well cared for 300TE which is more than I can say for most cars on Ebay!

During my ownership all the service records were complete up to approximately 65K. when it was sold. Oil changes were done every 3-5K. The majors were completed on time. The head gasket, complete air conditioning and radiator was replaced at 60k. Donnie Drummond (mercedesshop.com) performed all my services when he was at MBS in Atlanta. If any one is in the market for a 124 wagon you may want to watch.
