I bought this SL in Germany new in 1983. I've driven it less than 78K miles due to one reason or another but mainly because in my job before retiring, I travelled 70% of the time. It has a 2.8l engine with Automatic transmission, cloth interior, no cruise control, a/c not currently working but I'll have that repaired. It has both top and a rear jump seat. New tires and battery.
The last time I drove it was in '06 when I parked it in my barn. The car is currently at Ernie's MB shop in Orangevale, CA for service. He advised me to drive it more and it should last another 100K miles. I can provide you his phone number if you're interested. I'm selling it because I know I'll never drive it anymore. FYI, I'm also selling my Harley, 50's Chevy Impalas, 20' Beachcraft Boat, 5th Wheel Trailer and a host of other toys...just downsizing.
