I have an original Mercedes - Benz 6 disc CD changer. It was removed from a totaled 1999 E320 with about 20k miles on it. Comes complete with 6 disc magazine. MB part number - 002 820 5989 and Model number is- mc3196na , and the sticker on the rear has a build date of June 1998. Player has been tested and works perfectly. I was told by the MB dealer that it was built by Alpine. I cannot verify that or not, but it will work with any Mercedes from 1998 and up. Please make me an offer on it. I wouldn't be selling it if I could retrofit it to use in my 560SEL or 560SL. From what I read I would need to changeout the wiring harness coming from the radio to the changer, and find a factory MB system from a 1999-2001, in which head units cost a ton of money. But if you have a factory head unit that would work with the changer, I would go that route. But I am just going to sell it. feel free to make me an offer, and its yours.
