Lovey '78 6.9 w/sunroof
Just saw a lovely car today. It's a 6.9. It runs, drives and sounds like a 6.9 (a great deep growl from a new exhaust). The hydraulic system was completely done over as well. The interior is lovely black leather on this silver car.
The seller is moving. He's had it since 2002 and is going to a smaller place w/o a garage, so the car needs a new home. There is 78,000 miles on it. I took a good look at the undercarriage, it's clean and rust-free. There are some touch-up spots on the car, so the paint isn't perfect, but it sure is pretty. The owner's son bluntly asked if I was going to offer him 13,000$ for the car. I said "no". It is a great car, but that number is high. Here's his contact info... info at rjestatetreasures.com ; the car is located in Babylon, NY, near Rt 231 & Bay Shore Rd. HTH -CTH PS. Yes, I more and larger pictures. |

That car is exactly like mine, except that one's nicer.
What kind of exhaust did they put on it or was it just a new exhaust system? |

I didn't look for labels or ask for receipts. But it sounds like the right notes for it to be the softer steel from the factory parts rather than the harsh sounds of stainless. -CTH
