FS: 1992 300D 2.5 Turbo parts car, Middle TN

1992 Mercedes 300D 2.5 Turbo Parts Car for sale. Hit a deer on New Years Day this year. Ins Co totaled it out. Have pulled and sold some parts but motor/trans and maybe 97% of the interior remains. Haven't had much luck selling things and it's becoming a burden more than anything and would just like to see it gone.

Motor runs good, according to the PO's records they had the timing chain replaced at around 180k or so. It did leak a little oil but hey, it had 270k+ on it.


These parts have been sold/gone:

-Instrument cluster
-Turbo
-Air filter box with MAF sensor
-Sun visors
-DS lower knee bolster
-Turn signals
-Tail lights
-Trunk liner
-Door sills
-Floor mats
-(Air Bag is currently off but I still have it and can include it)
-Both seat switches are gone
-Front door handle/and trim are gone
-Driver side exterior mirror is gone
-Wheels and tires in pictures are gone but have it sitting on some '87 W124 wheels with old dry rubber so it can move
-Center console wood is gone
-Power antenna gone
-Light switch and associated bezel trim is gone
-Push button unit gone



That's the best I can remember for now.

It appears I left some highlights out which I'd like to point out.

Recently installed items on car:

-Battery (last summer)
-4 New Bilstein shocks (last summer)
-New exhaust front down pipe (past 2 years give or take)
-New IP fuel thermostat (past 2 years give or take)- $200 part

*Other highlights: (1) The A/C was fully functional on the car. Recently replaced the blower motor with a really good used unit (almost new). (2) All 4 windows and sunroof worked.

I (my brother) still holds a clear title but since it has been totaled if you wanted to repair it and re-register the car it may be issued a salvage/rebuilt title. I don't know too much about titles but this is my guess.

Best as a parts car IMO...
