Putting my 87 SDL up for sale. Would prefer someone local but we can always talk if you are really interested.

213k miles, bought it with 148k. Daily driver for last 6 years. Lots of replaced parts, brakes, suspension, etc. No ear end sag!

Upgraded fuel injection pump (6mm 90cc), turbo (TD05-16g), exhaust, manifolds, intercooler. Does not blow black smoke.

2.47 LSD rear end. Also swapped the speedo to match (AND made the odometer match)

Real Euro headlights.

31-32 ACTUAL mpg on a 24mile 35-50mph route to work. (tank average, not just in a 24 mile trip)

Some rust but nothing major. Still beneath the paint.

Interior pretty great, has some dash cracks and the seat has a split.

A/C not functioning but had worked fine the last 5 years...I think the charge leaked out. This is embarrassing for me to say as this is usually the excuse everyone makes but I think I made it leak out when moving a hose to make my intake manifold fit. Compressor does not turn on when ACC button pushed. I don't see any other reason why it would just stop working when it always had.

Comes with fair to good condition Lorinser 16" wheels AND stock 15" wheels with good tires. I will most likely remove the tires from the 16" but you will still get the rims, of which there are 6. They are chrome which I painted over. They are et11 so pretty much only work on the w126.

I am asking $4000 which may seem high but I will give you all the stock parts with the car if you want them to sell, or take out the performance parts and sell those, etc. The performance parts alone are still worth about $1500 used.

I know pretty much every in and out of this car and can say it is super reliable and should continue to be a daily driver. It's not a showroom car by any means but it's better than any other w126 I see in Chicago and it is relatively quick.
