'68 220D $500 bucks
This car is facing imminent destruction. The guy is going to donate it to the charity which he says will likely crush it.
It runs well, has M616 with claimed 200,000 mi. Manual tranny shifts well and car runs and drives straight. The car still has life left in it and for 500 bucks is very reasonable. I am not the owner, I'm just trying to find someone to buy it cause I can't stand by and let an old Benz get crushed for no reason. Email or reply to this post ASAP. Better yet, call cell 707-217-1129 if you are serious and can come up with the cash by the third. After Jan 03, it goes bye bye.

the ad was posted on 12/28 and I responded on 12/29. The seller just contacted me on 1/2 at 9:30pm EST. Now is the car is going to be donated on 1/3, how am I supposed to make arrangements at 9:30pm EST to be in California in a few hours???
Why post a car for sale, if you are not going to attend to any inquiries??

I'm back. I was out of town. Sorry to all for the discouragement. I emailed CJ and hopefully will hear from him tonight, cause I'm leaving town tomorrow.
Don't know why I didn't get his messages!!?  CJ, I just saw your post. Can you call me at 10P.M. EST on my home number? Hopefully we can clear this up. Apologies. I had hoped that my cell phone would be useful in fielding responses. Obviously something was wrong.
