Mercedes 6.3 for sale need to sell now, any offers considered

I have posted this car a few times now and have had ALOT of tire kickers but no offers. I really need to sell because of storage problems and I feel the price is low enough for a running and driving 130k miles 6.3 with almost completely new air suspension and extra goodies. Any suggestions from anyone? offers?

1971 MERCEDES-BENZ 300sel 6.3 liter V-8 silver with blue interior. Almost completely new air suspension. Holy grail large bunt cake alloy wheels, interior leather near flawless for age, stainless exhaust, oversize stainless gas tank, all books, some records, runs and drives great but needs paint and some detail work. If you are reading this you probably know how fast these cars are, this one is no exception, surprised everyone who I've taken for a ride and handles better than most with the large alloys. Will email pics if needed. I NEED TO SELL THIS CAR NOW, LOST MY GARAGE SPACE PLEASE MAKE AN OFFER, Reduced price to move quick $4,800 but again I am open for offers Contact: 904-824-4833 leave message 24 HOURS or jpet@bellsouth.net

I think that this sale represents an excellent opportunity for someone to get into the quintessential Mercedes-Benz hot-rod for not a lot of money. The 6.3 is arguably a more desireable car than the later 6.9. The 6.3 is not as refined as the 6.9, but sometimes you want a little raw-around-the-edges in a fast car. If the car is as true as what the seller says, someone will get an awesome deal.

Where is the car, now? How up-to-date is the maintainance? Has it been maintained consistantly? What else does it need mechanically? Tires?

Curiosity got the best of me, and a quick search on the internet shows that (904) area code is N. Florida, Jacksonville area.

Would be good if this was a Florida car its whole life, but bad if you live in San Francisco - almost 3,000 miles away.

Yes, myself and the car are 30 minutes south of Jacksonville 1.5 hours from Orlando.

Is it at all possible to post pictures of the car?

You have some maintenance records, but do you have the general history of the car?

Are you the first, second, third owner, etc.?

Where has the car lived its life? Any rust, body work, etc.?

Can you post the VIN number and the options the car has?

Is the gear shifter on the column or on the floor?

Which portions of the air suspension have you replaced and when?

So I'm assuming you have the 15" bundt cake alloys rather than the 14" when you say "Holy Grail"? If so, that's an AWESOME option!! I might just be interested in your car. Send me pics to benzpower@aol.com
