I am really getting into mercedes now as I have just starting to modify my new c230 kompressor. I wanted to see if there where any other people in my area who are also really into mercedes especially c classes. I almost think it would be nice to start up a club, as I know that the national mercedes club is a little lame as it is not really performance or get together oriented. Anyone interested in this kind of thing or have a nice benz in Wa. I would really like to find someone in Wa. with a nice C class who could give me some tips on what mods are best. I got this idea as I went with a friend this morning in a local VW club who had a car show off in a random parking lot and a car parade/drive, it was a lot of fun. Why not with mercedes?
thanks
cavan

AS stated in my earlier posts, I am planning such a organization for N.Y. Mercedesshop.com can be the amin club, with Chapters in all the states.

I got a C280 - used to live in Seattle

Hi,

I used to live in Seattle and have family up there, but I now live in Dallas and have a 1995 C280 that is modded. Just a word of advice, I would think twice about 18's - its easy to bend those rims. I have the 16" stock SLK rims on my car. I have done some mods on my car and plan on doing cross-drilled rotors and Bilstein HD's, but I guess those I jsut mentioned don't make any sense since your car is newer. As my car ages, I replace OEM parts with more performance oriented parts.

Try to get AMG rims if you can or stay with Mercedes rims since they will look best on the car. Send me an e-mail if you want to talk about mods.

Troy
