On May 18, the Northeast Corvair Council is sponsoring a weekend at Pocono Raceway in PA. Morning practice & afternoon timed laps; $129 fee. Same deal at Lime Rock in CT on July 7th.

Let me know if anyone wants more info. I'm going to try to attend both, but will do at least one. Any other MBZs gonna show?

I was supposed to be at Lime Rock this weekend but the event got cancelled becuase there is still too much snow in the run off areas.

Your name, addr., ph#; Indicate that you want to participate in the Track event (the Corvair owners also organize a Concours, a Wash & Show, and a Swap Meet-advise if more detail needed) and, if postmarked by 6/22 it's $139.00. After it's $160. Check is to be made out to "NECC" and mailed to:

I don't think you will get a chance to test your speed limiter at Lime Rock...the main straight is not that long...the funest corner is the downhill...you shift up under the bridge as you dive down the hill and get full throttle at turn in and pray you don't early apex it.
The most difficult for me is turn 3 the left hander.
If you want to do a cyber test of the track...pick up a copy of EA's Sports Car GT...and take whirl in a Porsche or M3.

Yeah it would be great to have A 500E an E55 and CLK55 on track...wouldn't it?

Jim: I never registered for the Event @LRP that was cancelled. Please let me know if they reschedule so I can get there on track day if I have the time. Thanx

The Cumberland Valley Corvette Club is hosting an event that utilizes a part of the Superspeedway and part of a road course. 2 day event...it's that Sat and Sun.
