Eibach spring mod.
Looking for feedback from someone who has done this mod. I am getting conflicting information from Eibach, my mercedes dealership, my frontend and sus. person.
I want to know that if I put Eibach prokit springs on my 1990 300ce 24 valve, will I need to do camber/ castor kits, and what is the biggest tire/whell combo that I can use when lowered. Eibach say no to camber castor kit. Renntec says yes, my suspenion friend say yes, but no kits seem to be available to do this. Anybody done this and still get good tire wear? Please advise. Thanks!

You might be able to get away without a camber kit but it would better have one. The Suspension is designed for the stock height and any adjustments away from that will put it out of alignment.

I've got eibach springs on my 93 124 cabrio, I did the camber kit, the car had too much neg camber and ate the inside of the tires. As for wheel/tire, I have tsw 18's with 225-40-18 all the way around. No rubbing in the back, the front the occational rub depending on the road. Might look into 215's for the front next time.
