Yesterday on my way home, actually to the gas station, I happened upon this late model Toyota Supra(Twin Turbo and all that) with one of those BIG @$$ mufflers on the back, but otherwise a pretty stock looking car. We happened to take the same exit and proceeded East on the Beltway 8 service Rd. Finally we came to a light and had to stop. Now granted , up until this point he never even knew I existed, and surely didn't know what devious thoughts were going on in my feeble little mind.
So I stopped at the light a little ahead of him on the "Starting Line". The light changes and I hastily cross the intersection then I NAIL THAT MOTHA! By now he know that I'm FUC#ing with him. I'm grinning like a Chess Cat , ear to ear , feeling pretty good, giddy even . That's when it happened!
The next thing I knew, I head the sound of that second Turbo "Spooling Up" and He "Blew my Doors off" before I could get out of 1st!
I mean just a good ol' fashioned @$$ Whoopin'. He went on to the Moon or some place way out there in the Upper stratosphere
Feeling pitiful and dejected , I pulled into the Gas Station and filled er up with 23.9 gals of Ethyl(I wish actually Exxon Supreme). Now my Owners manual says its a 23.5 gal tank mind you!
I left the station still feeling puny and stopped at the red light. There was a wrecker hauling a car off in the center lane and two SUV's(GRrrrr I cant stand Trucks and SUV's) ahead of me in the far right lane. The far left lane "MUST enter" the Tollway and there were also cars in that lane. The light changes and the wrecker and the two SUV's drive as though they were taking off in 3rd. Now eveyone knows that the lane that I and the 2 SUV's are in...ENDS! The SUV's Must get ahead of the wrecker in order to continue down the service Rd. They are all just creeping along like Gomer Pyle and time / the lane is running out. I make a Kamikaze move to the left over 2 lanes floored it past the Wrecker and the 2 Gomers and slide back into the center lane before I "MUST ENTER" the tollway.
Redemption!!!!
There's that Grin again . Can you see it .

If only you had a nitrous set-up!!! Look,you can't win them all but by all means...keep trying!!! Some of those Jap cars can sure boogie with the right stuff bolted in 'em...
