How difficult is it to change spring pads on the 300CE (W124)? I was told this is an easy way to lower these cars.

Turboman,

This is only my opinion, but I think you will like the results.

If you want it lower without looking slammed, do what I did to my car.

Buy the neuspeed springs $125.00
Buy the 2 bump front pads and the 3 bump rear pads and have them put in.

The end result is how my car looks.

spring pad heights vary from car to car. the dealership can look up your vin and tell you which ones are on your car.

I have H&R in my ride with i bump pads all around. It looks pretty sweet. I was wondering does anyone know the side affect of using no pads. I was pondering about this idea to give my car even a lower stance.
