Performance Headers

Anyone know of a place where I can find some good performance headers for pretty cheap for my W124 300E(87)?? Thanks

This is tough for 3 reasons.
Mercedes
good headers
cheap


This is like '92 500E, perfect condition, CHEAP. Nothing like that exists.

I think the best thing to do is ceramic coat the headers..

Or check www.bekkers.com and see if they have a cam kit.

Theres not much you` can do to a 300e..

Bekkers dose sell an awsome set of headers for the M103 engine but be prepared to pay $1500 for them. I port matched and coated my original headers for a tenth of the cost. I'm sure there is not much difference in performance between the two. you could probably have a nice set of headers custom made for a reasonable price but still don't plan on any performance boost without a bunch of other modifications. i enjoy modifying my M103 engine trying to squeeze all the hp i can out of it on a budget.

ive got a 260E and im looking to improve the exhaust manifold. i think im going to get them sanded and matched like you did. but what will i be expecting to pay for that kind of a job? theres no way im going to shell out 1500 for headers for my car even if i could find them. thanks.
