Last pcs. of the puzzle! Factory exhaust minus the down pipe. I ordered this down pipe via ebay Germany. Its aftermarket. you can see where the flanges would hook up to the headers, is even length. The flanges on the header are uneven by about 2 or 3 inches so I need to cut this pipe or buy a factory pc. used which I will most likely do since I can be sure of the fitment with the factory stuff. Lesson learned. But the downpipe (non cat) was NLA from Mercedes. That's why I went looking elsewhere..

Pulled it out the garage today for my buddy to use a real camera. The Brabus wheel looks and feels incredible. Short shift feels amazing as well. I'm dying not being able to putt the new Rotiform wheels on this car!

The corners will feel straighter with the set you have prescribed ,nice to see the ground forces are set ,inspiring.

So got the exhaust all buttoned up today. No more "RICE" sound! Off for alignment in the morning and then I will put on the new rims and tires. Even took her out to get groceries tonight. Also got her up to speed on the interstate. The suspension is amazingly sweet and very tight in the corners! Two thumbs up for the Vogtland springs and Bilstein sport shock combo. Was a bit worried about the springs as I have only ever used H&R in the past. Love the Brabus steering wheel in my hands combined w/the new factory leather shift knob and short shift kit! Stay tuned as tomorrow should have some very cool photos wit the new Rotiforms! Then off to Daytona this weekend for its debut! Not to bad for a hack huh?

Nice look at the Brabus wheel and new factory shift knob




Can see where the heavy crash beams have been removed from the doors. Going to get some black trim pc. caps to put there. We did shed some good weight off the car but kind of added allot back in unsprung weight with the larger wheels.If I track it, will throw the 15" forged factory wheels and tires back on.

Switched out the rear tires today for wider less stretch. The 215/40 just were not right on the 17x9 wheel. So went to a 235/40. Also got the front Euro tag in today. Alignment tomorrow and Daytona Saturday! Been raining here for 2 days now and not being able to be out enjoying the car is killing me.Oh well, the weekend drive up to Daytona and all over the Rolex 24 infield hopefully will be a blast!

That's it for the 190E transformation thread, the car drove 3 hours up to Daytona this weekend and performed beautifully! I still cant get over 4th gear in this car as it seems to just pull and pull and pull! I have to say the car came out better than expected! The suspension feels amazing with all of the new components. I couldn't be happier with it! Hope you enjoyed my build.
