Question Differences betw 1991 190e 1.8 & 1991 190e 2.0???

Hi Guys

My kid brother is looking at a couple of 2 litre 190es manufactured around the same time as my 1.8.

However, we noticed that they have carbs and are not Fuel Injected...

I have seen some tech data on these 2 cars and know that the FI 1.8 produces a few hp more than the carb 2.0.

Is the fuel consumption significantly higher on a carb model than a FI one for the same engine capacity?

Having owned a 1979 Alfasud Sprint, I know that it is easier to get a car with carb and points going than a FI car in a "breakdown" situation assuming the problem is in the ignition system.

What are the pluses/minuses betw a 1.8 FI and a 2.0 carb model assuming both have gasoline engines.

I can't wait to welcome my kid bro to the 190 bandwagon...geronimo!!!
