I wanted to replace the speedo on my 2000 E with other unit that has higher speed reading ie 320km/h instead of the stock 260km/h. My local dealer told me that they will have to replace the whole dashbord along with it but I have seen in some Japanese maganies that only a few small mechanism and a 320km speedo pad were needed(BTW, that was done on an E500). I have asked Renntech too and it was the same(they charge US 1000 for the speedo). Euro spec E55 has 280km/h & Japanese one has 320km/h reading, howcome N.A. spec only get 260km/h reading? ET |
