Removing paint from AMG front spoiler (bumper)

What is the best way to remove paint from a polyurethane front spoiler without degrading the integrity of the plastic?

Maybe I will have to hand sand it.

I didn't read it right. Sorry. I read it as Don't do it. It comes in a spray paint type can. I think I am going to have to try it tomorrow afternoon. I am going to try it on a practice piece to see how it works, then try it on my spoiler.

Thanks,

I tried Auto Tech Urethane Parts Stripper 2 18 oz cans of Metylene Chloride (active ingredient). It took of a portion of the paint off. I used a can of overspray remover also, but it did not do anything.

The Urethane parts stripper does sofen up the bumper, but it is supposed to go back to how it was within 24 hours.

I am going to buy some that will brush on so that It can do a better job. Any more ideas?

I got some fiberglass paint stripper, active ingredient is Methylene Chloride, but I guess it should be a stronger concentration. It is not as strong as aircraft paint remover, so I am going to give it a try.
