Renntech rear mufflers
Anyone installed Renntech exhaust system? They offer rear mufflers for my S500 for $1690. Claim they sound very sweet.

Reentech muffler on 500e
I have one on my 500e - nice sophistocated and not over stated throaty roar. Has twin pipes but the set up has only one muffler. Stainless steel - seems like it should last longer than the sand on the beach. I have Renntech muffler also on my 500sl but it is much louder - perhaps more suitable to the sportier sl - but a tad too loud for an old guy like me.

Any measurable gain in hp for the mufflers? $1700 is a lot of money just for the noise.
