Is it bad to remove SLS on a 95 Wagon?

If one were to lower a 95 E320 Wagon with the Sportline suspension and different spacers, could you lower it 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch?

Would it not be a good idea to put on the Sportline suspension on a W124 Wagon even if it is rarely driven with 4 people on board? Thanks for your help!
