Alternator Upgrade 76 450sl

Hello, anyone have any information on upgrading the orginal alternator in my 1976 450 SL ? I'm going to replace the existing unit, but I would like to increase the amp output if possible.

The parts outlets I have dealt with both online and in person only offer the OEM alternator.
