Fuel leak on 350 slc
Hi All,
Re: My 1973 350 slc I have a problem with the short feed lines from the fuel rail into the actual injectors. These pipes are little more than an inch long and have hydraulic style steel connectors at the injector end. Problem is some of them seem to be leaking. I can't find any listing for them on the online parts outlets that I use. Anyone know if I can replace these items with ordinary fuel lines, and any tips or tricks involved. Also there is a bit of a clunk on bumpy roads, seemingly from the area of the transmission tunnel. I have replaced sub-frame mounts etc. Does this mean that there is a problem with the engine/gearbox mounts ? Any adjustments feasible. Thanks Gerry Wexford Ireland |
