Removal of the interior lamp switch 90 300sl

Hey all, My father just purchased a 90 300sl and is reparing some small items on the interior. One of his interior light switches is bad, the ones at the rear view mirror. He has the new switch but does'nt know how to remove the plastic surrounding the mirror to get to the switch. Any ideas Thanks in advance. Chris
