1996 SL320 soft top problem
The 1996 SL320 thread is locked so I can't post a reply there.
If power is interrupted to the soft top controller then you should try to "synchronize" the power windows before operating the top. You do this by raising the windows and continuing to press the switches for 2 seconds after they are completely raised and motion stops. Also, for other suggestions, use the search forum tool and try "synchronize windows" or "soft top controller".

Soft top inoperative after battery exchange
The only thing that still works is the remote.
It allowed me to lower the windows, but I stopped for fear they would remain in the down position. Pressing the windows for syncronization or roll bar has no effect. Any new ideas? |
