107 Special Spanner For Front Seat Lock Pin

Gentelmen

When I got my 86 560SL both front seats would not fold forward. The reason was that the locking pin shown in the pictures below was loose on both seats. As you can see by the pictures, the locking nut that tightens this pin requires a special spanner. I have seen spanners like this before but I dont know where or how are they sized or is there a special MB tool number available anywhere. Anyone with any ideas. I would prefer not to cut flats in the nuts.

Thats definitely an odd bolt.

Can you put something into the hole and then turn it?

I think I stuck the ends of needle-nosed pliers in two of the holes and got it to turn.

Pin Wrench

I just reupholstered the seats in my 450SL. I used a pair of channel lock pliers to tighten the nut, but I wasn't able to get them as tight as I wanted. What is the part number for the wrenches you ordered?
