Suspension Bushings 300sl
I'm pretty sure the suspension bushings on my moms 1990 300SL are bad. Whenever I go over a bump, it sounds like there is a loose washer rattling around in the trunk. Does anyone know how to change the bushings or does this sound like it may be another problem? This has happened before and the it was the bushings that needed to be replaced last time.

There are several suspension links in the rear. Any one of them could be the problem. It is easier to change the links. I do not think you can buy replacement bushings for all (some?) of them. Take the care to a tire/alignment ship that does all four wheels. They will put it in the air and tell you what's wrong.
