Hood emblem 1997SL500

Purchased a new hood emblem but do not have the slightest idea of how to get the old one off. Please help!!

Just use a piece of plastic and slip it under the old onem they pop right off, the new kit should have two new plastic sleeves that are to be put in the holes. Be sure to clean really well under there and apply some wax to protect it, then the new one just snaps right on. Be carefule when removing the old one as to not scratch your finish. Good luck!
