I got a quote from Phil last year for a new one $1900. I know prices have gone up since then but $1200 recon seems steep.

Was that wholesale? Cuz i think retail is 2.5K
My old carpet is sounding more appealing all the time. BUT I HATE IT...MAYBE AN OVERLAY. WHO DO YOU LIKE? I thought I saw a c.u. on one that had a vinyl pattern; looked good.
I just had to get a new starter, fuel pump, actuator, door diaphrams, new grill (hubby backed tractor into 'er) Oh and I really could use a new tranny, altho mine is still serviceable, rear is a little slow to engage, however it has been this way so long I can't remember how it should be...thought rear would go out first but so far...198K it hasn't.
I also ordered the new Becker retro radio with cd/aux. I wish we were puttin all this dough into a 560...we should'a kept the 450 a few more years and got into an early 560. We were so busy working at the time that we literally had an assistant drop the 450 off and drive back with what ever model was on the showroom floor. Good 'ol days...
