best sl color combo

My 1986 560sl is a head turner in creme exterior with a chocolate brown bonnet and interior. It has 40 k miles and never seen snow!

I believe some years ago I read here that the publics choices were 1. Silver 2. Black and Red came in last.

That is a handsome color, the first I have ever seen with it. Perfect to picture it in front of those nice red rocks.

I like most of the color combos I have seen in SLs, so long as they are well cared for. Black on black is my all time favorite. Love Black Pearl/Black and Black/Palomino. I have a 107 SL in Desert Taupe (metallic) with Cream Beige leather and a chocolate brown soft top which I think is a very classy, elegant look. Have seen the same unkempt and it looked horrible. Condition and care are the key, in my book.
