91 sl rol bar deployment

How do I get my 91 sl 300 roll bar to go down and how much should I pay
to some one to fix it. Hit a bump today and it deployed and the switch won't let it go down.

Did you push and hold the down part for 10 seconds?

You have to press the switch as if to raise the bar for a few seconds until you hear a click. Only then will the switch lower the bar.
