88 560 sl black box attached to fuel distributer?
on the drivers side there is a black box attached to the fuel distributer, what is it and what does it do?

That is the EHA valve. It THINK is monitors the fuel/air mixture and reports back to the ECU. I replaced on my 87 560SL and it made all the difference in the world with smoothing out the idle.
