but upon closer inspection... the undercarriage isnt anything special, and that awful spray paint can job on the aux fan and radiator suck! Im also not a fan of painted headlamp doors, or modern emblems on vintage cars (the SL45 part, at least modify an old script). Otherwise, the seats rock and as much as I hate thoes faux cowl vents, it looks supprisingly good in that location...

For the most part....I likey!
I really like the wheels and tires.
I don't think a 73 model would have a 4 speed auto though? I don't care so much for the more modern seats.Now a pair of period Recaro's...That would be super cool. Too bad there weren't engine mods done as well.I suspect if there were the price would be 2-3X higher as these engine parts are made of "unobtainium"

At least detail the engine bay. Its almost laughable that they left it looking like that under the hood. Silver powder coated valve covers with a red air cleaner would work.
I like everything except the fake vents and the fact that he didn't use a straight edge to mount the emblems. It would be better blank, IMO.

That's not my favorite model of SL, but I kinda like that one. Of course, I DO like my cars somewhat pimped out . . . .
