Red face 94 sl320 dash warnings all flash

To recover a check engine code I made a home made tool . A family emergency distracted me and I wired it wrong . Latter in the week I tried to recover the check engine code and discovered my mistake . Now the dash warning lights all flash and the oil pressure and other guages dance when the car starts . How bad have I shot myself in the foot ?

Have you checked for a blown fuse on the Over Voltage Potection relay?

Smile thank you

I had checked the base module fuses and they were good . After your post I went back and found a fuse labled " residual engine heat storage system " that was blown . I replaced the fuse and now the dash works again . My foot is feeling better , thank you

Angry sl320 Brain short ?

After my flashing dash incident , my check engine light has again come on . This time I can not connect or read any code . The check engine light was off for about a month , car drives fine . I think I shorted the read out module ?
