20% discount on MB dealer parts and service
I have been offered a one time 20% discount ($500.00 max) on parts and service by an MB dealer for my 1991 300SL with 70K miles.
I plan to take advantage of the offer to get $2500.00 worth of parts and service for $2000.00. What small parts should I include to have on hand? Such as relays, circuit breakers, etc. |

Used to be that a 20% discount (or was it 10%?) was a benefit of being a MBOC member. I took full advantage of this as recently as 10 years ago. However, between then and now, we've had all of our service work done by our friendly local independent, so have had no need of it.
The MBZ dealer close to home practically threw me out for asking for the same discount a few weeks ago, since I've again started doing some of my own repairs, so I guess it doesn't fly anymore. |

15% through the Classic Center. Don't know about dealers.

Ah, that must be why. Fortunately, I'm fairly near the Classic Center.

Park Place in DFW sells parts at wholesale prices to club members. But only if you take them away. You cannot buy them and have the service department install them.
