Looking for interior under dash a/c panels
I am in the process of restoring a 1980 450SL and I am looking for the correct color panels for the a/c. My interior is Tabac (dark orange tan also referred to as British Tan) Does anyone know a company that makes reproduction panels? I have found several at salvage places but never in the correct color

I would contact World Upholstery and have them make vinyl dye cans for you. This is a low-wear area, and I would feel pretty good about doing this as a legit fix on even a very nice car.

Thanks for the tip, I wasn't sure this would be a viable option.
I have used the vinyl spray color change Duplicolor on door panels before and found that the stuff works great on vinyl fabric if you clean every thing thoroughly with Denatured alcohol to get rid of any oils, waxes or silicone. I did not know I could get it in a custom color. |
