Manual

Almost any CD-based manual , like around $20 from ebay, includes the owner's manual.

Parts are readily available at reasonable prices with a little searching. I hope you have small hands. Although these cars are easy to troubleshoot, clearances to reach some of the stuff are quite close unlike the sedans.

One of the good things about the W123 cars is that the hood will stand 90 degrees straight up, in place for service, can you do that on the 107 SLs? I have cheated on the W115s and unbolted the hood from the hinges, but would prefer not to do that on the 380SL.

Seats are coming out soon for repair. Then we'll see what else needs repair besides the seal between the hardtop and the windshield frame. The PO had sealed this and it's gonna be fun redoing it! I can tell.

But I have all winter and the cars not going out anywhere until I check all the basics.

In the meantime, gotta get a title changed and buy the CD, then start printing out the owner's manual, so I have it handy

As always, thanks for the help.

Yes, the hood will go 90 degrees. Unbolt or remove the clip where the top of the arm attaches to the hood. 1 on each side. Bolt on early models, clip and pin on later ones.

my condolences...

Not for the purchase, but for the sickness that drove you to where you are.

Look at the number of Citroens I have. I have many more not mentioned. THAT is a sickness. I have at least 7 more cars, all Citroens, not listed.

Is it true there are bolt-on spoilers and roll bars for these cars? I'd like to get the roll bar and wind screen if they do come with it.

As for the spoiler, just kidding lol.

Don't know about the roll bar but wind screens can be found on Ebay. I have the Love the Drive one which is less expensive on ebay but sometimes the MB ones show up.
