Thrust Augmentation
I have a gray market, sold in Germany, 1978 350SL with K-jetronic CIS fuel injection. At the back of the motor behind the fuel distributor there is a valve with air lines (not vacuum) attached. The EPC calls it a thrust augmentation valve. Does anyone know what it does and how it does it? I am replacing damaged hoses and would like to test it when done!
