Ok guys, i am new to this list so thaks in advance. I have been wanting to buy something diferrent fo some time, so i foun this 1989 560Sl with 65000 milles, my question is, on the back on the truck lid it says AMG, i know new AMG are very espensive, but on this vintage car, is there really any differance? if there is what would it be? now second question, i live in a country that just now has got unleaded, so this car has been run with leaded gas for many years, i would asumme some one took the converters out, is not illegal here, but would it be a good idea to run it with unleaded now?
Thanks |

I switched from leaded to unleaded and there seemed to be no problems at all. In fact the engine ran smoother (because the octane rating is higher). I lived in Indonesia and they still sell leaded fuel...
Unless it really has AMG body kits, wheels and engine upgrades, I don't think it's worth much a premium.
