Well, you could start by not yelling! Then you could give us a clue about what car you're having the problem with.

On cars with spark plug ignition there is a possibility that an alternator diode has failed allowing 12 volts to be fed back to the ignition switch which would then allow the car to keep running after the key has been turned off. A quick check is to remove the alternator belt (s) and start the car and then shut it off. If the car shuts off you have found the problem.

IGNITION WON'T SHUT OFF CAR

FYI MACH4 MY CAPS LOCK IS STUCK SO I GUESS YOU WILL HAVE TO READ THIS WITH EAR PLUGS!
I HAD CAR PAINTED AND EVERYTHING WAS PULLED OFF. I TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO UPGRADE THE LIGHTS IN MY DASH WITH LEDS. I ALSO REPLACED MY 8 YEAR OLD BATTERY.
WHEN THE CAR WAS FULLY RE ASSEMBLED, I ATTACHED THE BATTERY AND TRIED THE LIGHTS THAT I COULD TRY WITH THE CAR OFF. WHEN THOSE WORKED, I STARTED CAR. ALL GAUGES WERE OPERATIVE. WHEN I TRIED THE RIGHT TURN SIGNAL IT WORKED ALONG WITH THE BATTERY LIGHT WHEN KEY WAS TURNED. THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL, DASH ILLUMINATION, BRIGHT LIGHT INDICATER, WHICH ARE ALL ON THE LEFT OF THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, DID NOT WORK. I DID NOTICE WHEN I TURNED ON THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL MY GAUGES STARTED JUMPING UP AND DOWN SO I TURNED IT OFF IMMEDIATELY. THEN WHEN I WENT TO SHUT OFF THE CAR, IT MADE A FLUTTERING CLICKING NOISE BUT IT DID NOT SHUT THE CAR OFF. SO I TURNED THE KEY TO THE ON POSITION AGAIN AND PROCEEDED TO PULL THE IGNITION WIRE TO SHUT CAR OFF, THEN DISENGAGED THE POWER SIDE OF BATTERY FOR GOOD MEASURE. I DID NOT TOUCH THE IGNITION BUT I DID HOWEVER NOTICE MY CABIN TEMPERATURE SENSOR WAS DAMAGED AND BROKE OFF. SO I UNPLUGGED IT. A NEW ONE HAS BEEN ORDERED.
