Question ignition switch removal

Anybody know how to remove ignition switch on my 1992 500sl ? I have wire connector off and trim off and need to know how to remove switch and lock from metal tube.

Question 500sl ignition key problem!!!!

Hi, I have the same problem!! When I try and start the car, the key will not turn! Does anyone have a diagram of the ignition switch assembly? Anyone have any ideas on what the cause is? Thanks in advance. Gerard

Do a search on tumbler and you should come up with some threads that can help you both out.

These videos are EXACTLY what we need and so I wonder where they originate? They appear to be part of a series - any thoughts?
