Heater - how does it work ?

Calll me a thick Englishman but I can't work it out.

I have just bought my first SL and no matter what setting I use, unless I turn on the AC, I can only get hot out of the far right and left vents and cool out of the middle.

Is this normal or am I mad ?

It may be bad weather in England but heat all the time ? there must be a better way ?

Sounds like the heater monovalve is broken or stuck open. Had the same problem. As for the middle vents, they are fresh air vents and do not provide hot or cold air, just outside air.

If you need more help, let me know, it's quite an easy fix.

Heat

I'm not too sure about the 560, but I do believe that the middle vents on thoses are FRESH AIR ONLY. Check your manual, should tell you in there.

So this means, no AC or Heat on the middle vents.

Depends on the country too.

US 107's with ACC are set to close the center vents on heat and open them on A/C. The Euro models had manual operation of the center vents.
