Anyone Replaced a 107 Soft Top

With spring finally arrived in DC, I checked out the Wayward Woman's soft top situation. The mechanism had some badly bent pieces and a broken lever. I have fixed these problems and the mechanism is now working, but the top itself is toast.

BTW - all of the top mechanism's parts are available from MB, but horrendously expensive even by dealer parts standards. The little pivoting lever about an inch long was $40.

A new in-the-box top from Adsit came with the car, and I am contemplating installing it myself. The instructions on the CD are less than clear.

Any experience or suggestions? Is this a DIY, or take it to a shop job?

TIA
