SL 600 New Toy - What should I look for

Hi there guys and gals,

I have just put down a deposit on a 1994 SL600. It is having a wiring loom replaced under the bonnet and other minor work before I take delivery. Attached is a picture.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what I should look for in the car to ensure it is running true and any obvious problems I should investigate during my 3 month 'warranty' period. Not that I think I shall get much in the way of warranty.
