Headlight lamp change on a Euro model - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Hi Room,
Can anyone tell me how you remove the headlight lamp on a Euro 450 SL? I have instructions for the US model...but that doesn't work (of course) due to the difference in the set up. If anyone with the 500 SL or any other Euro model could send me directions I would appreciate it.

This should help; you have to remove the bottom piece as shown in the picture.

Thanks Eric! I'm not in front of the car now, but I assume that bottom piece comes off with no major degree of difficulty.

Yeah no biggie, two screws hold it on.

There's a guy on ebay who sells the owner's manual that came with the Euro's sold in England.

it has all of that stuff detailed. It's a little pricey, but they are brand spanking new and completely original. They are shipped out of denmark. Just bid 59.00, he's got a million of them.
