Anyone parting out a W210?

The sunroof switch of my friends 1998 E300D is dieing. According to the dealer the old style is no longer made. The new switch will not fit into the old console so he would have to buy a new console to the tune of $500 if he wants the sunroof to work.

Anyone parting out an early W210?
